A delegation from the Taiwan-based Grace THW Group, an electronics and plastics producer, visited the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) in Fujian province on June 9, ptnet.cn repots.

The guests inspected a duty-free market selling imported Taiwan products, learned about their development and favorable customs policies in Pingtan.

Pingtan, with its proximity to Taiwan, is the most convenient traffic channel between the mainland and Taiwan. It has mature conditions to accommodate large projects and key industries after several years’ infrastructure construction, and hopes to attract more Taiwan companies to invest, said Li Dejin, director of the PCPZ’s administrative committee.

The fast growth of Pingtan has impressed Lyu An’ni, special president assistant of GraCe THW, who said the company plans to explore cooperation with Pingtan in logistics and cultural creativity industries.
