Crew members pose in Dunhuang in Northwest China’s Gansu province after a flight from Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province, with a stopover in Zhengzhou, Henan province, on July 3. Dunhuang is a major stop on the ancient Silk Road and best known for the nearby Mogao Grottoes. The air route was launched by the Fuzhou branch of Xiamen Air to echo the country’s Road and Belt Initiative, with three round-trip flights on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The service is scheduled to terminate on Oct 23. [Photo/Xinhua]
