Soldiers clear a bridge following a flood triggered by continuous rain in Pengkou township, Liancheng county in Fujian province, July 26. The flood damaged bridges, cut power, water and communications and brought traffic to a standstill in 23 villages, leaving 5 dead and some 26,000 affected.
