Pingtan tourism development bureau in Fujian province, announced that it is geared up to shoot a new tourism promotion video and a crew from the Fujian Television is invited to do the job, local news portal ptnet.cn reported on Feb 19.

The county's unique scenery, including beautiful coastal landscape, stone folk dwellings and the antique building complex Haitan Ancient City will be presented in the video.

In addition, with an idea of showing Pingtan from different angles, it will capture local cycling teams racing at the Ring Road, foreigners who visit or work in the county, and more others.

Different from the previous video, the new one will focus more on local customs, culture and history.

And to increase Pingtan's national exposure, the video will be broadcasted on the China Central Television (CCTV), said a local tourism official.
