Xiaodeng Islet, off the shores of the mainland district of Xiang'an in Xiamen, Fujian province, boasts breathtaking vistas.

A recent photography contest gathered together pictures that presented the best of the beautiful islet, be they serene scenery, cultural relics or the simple lifestyle of fishermen.
