Li Yuelian moved to Nablus in the northern West Bank of Palestine five years ago.
As a qualified intermediate beautician, certificated by the Chinese authorities, Li Yuelian came up with the idea of introducing local people to Chinese health keeping concepts, as well as the way Chinese people socialize.
She opened her Chinese Center, a health preservation and beauty salon with a floor space of more than 200 square meters, at her second home in September, 2015. It's proved very popular.
Much of the equipment in Li's salon displays the label "Made in China", including the sauna house and the bathtubs.

Originally from Quanzhou, southeast China's Fujian province, the mother of three used to work in Guangzhou, capital of southern China's Guangdong province, where she met her husband of 13 years.
The couple lived in China for 7 years, running an import and export company, before moving to Palestine.
