Aliyun, the cloud computing arm of Alibaba, plans to build a data center in Mumbai by the end of next March, reported China Daily on June 13.
Simon Hu, the cloud company's president, told the Alibaba Computing Conference in Shanghai that this deployment will enhance the company's computing resources in Asia and allows greater support for small and medium-sized enterprises in cloud capabilities.
