Lenovo Chairman Yang Yuanqing said revenue generated from BRICS nations accounts for 45 percent of the company's total revenue.
"In the past fiscal year, we recorded $6 billion in combined revenue from Brazil, Russia, India, and South Africa, marking a 10-fold jump from the number 10 years ago," Yang said.
In addition to occupying the top spot in Russia's personal computer market, Lenovo is also the second largest smartphone vendor there, with a market share of 9 percent.
In India, a Lenovo smartphone is sold every three seconds. According to the Beijing-based company, it will ramp up resources to tap into local consumers' growing demand for quality consumer electronics.
