The 2018 Yongtai Half Marathon wrapped up in Yongtai, a county-level city in Fujian province on March 18.
Roughly 3,000 runners from across the world finished the 21.5-kilomemeter course.
Chinese runner Yan Xioakan finished the course with a time of 1 hour 15minutes and 09 seconds, ranking him first among male runners while Hu Kaimei seized the women's title with a time of 1 hour 31 minutes and 40 seconds.
The event, first stop of the China Marathon series, is a sports event tailored for county-level city as the host city by the country.
Yongtai, dubbed the "backyard of Fuzhou", boasts wonderful natural views. The renowned scenic areas in the city include Qingyun Mountain, Tianmen Mountain and Fangguangci Park.
