Wudianshi, a block in the downtown of Jinjiang, a county-level city in Southeast China's Fujian province, has a history dating back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911).
Thanks to the local government's efforts in cultural protection and inheritance, Wudianshi is well preserved amid the fast pace of urbanization.
Currently, the ancient block has become a landmark of the city, receiving numerous visitors from home and abroad.
