Quanzhou to hold world-class tennis game

The 2018 International Tennis Federation Women's Circuit tournament is scheduled to be held in Quanzhou, Fujian province on April 21-28.

Over 60 players from across the world have signed up for it, competing for the whopping prize money of $ 60,000.

The circuit, which has been held in the city for nine consecutive years, is authorized by ITF and jointly organized by China Tennis Association, Quanzhou municipal bureau of sports and Quanzhou Cultural Tourism Development Group.

There are several hundred ITF Women's Circuit tournaments every year, spread across all six inhabited continents, with prize money ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.

Players who succeed on the ITF Women's Circuit earn sufficient points to be eligible for qualifying draw or main draw entry to Women's Tennis Association tournaments.
