Apolong, China’s first driverless electric microbus, was tested at the automated vehicle test base on Qilin Avenue in Pingtan, Fujian province on March 30.
The bus, jointly developed by tech giant Baidu Inc and Xiamen King Long United Automobile Industry Co, is 4.3 meters long and 2 meters wide, has the capacity for eight seats and six standees and can run more than 100 kilometers on a single charge.
