A morning glory flower parterre, 1,500 meters in length, is under construction in Fuzhou, capital city of East China's Fujian province, local media reported.

Stretching along the Nanjiangbin East Road, the parterre is specially designed to adorn the Cross-Straits International Conference and Exhibition Center, the main venue for the upcoming Digital China Summit.

The event, to be held for the first time, is a national conference centered on China's digitalization process and is scheduled to convene on April 22-24. As the host city, Fuzhou is ramping up its efforts to ensure its success.

Local authorities revealed the flower blossom parterre is estimated to finish construction on March 20 to welcome guests from home and abroad.
