Fujian has seen increasingly closer agricultural economic ties with Taiwan, statistics show.
According to the Fujian provincial department of agriculture, in the first quarter of this year, Taiwan inked 14 agro investment contracts with Fujian, with combined value reaching $46 million.
To date, the number of Taiwan's investment projects in the province's agro-sector has reached 2,650, with contracted value of $3.88 billion.
The figure places Fujian in first place among the provinces across the country in terms of the level of agricultural investment, according to the data.
