The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Exposition & Cross-Straits Fair for Economy and Trade has been held in Fuzhou, Fujian province on May 18 each year since 1994.

It now has developed into an annual event for Fujian to facilitate its economic and trade cooperation and exchanges with Taiwan as well as the counties along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
