The fourth Cross-Straits Youth Rugby Tournament hit the pitch in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Jiangsu province on Sept 15, bringing together more than 100 athletes and referees from the mainland and Taiwan.

Xiamen Typhoon took home the top trophy with the Shanghai Double Dragons and Fuzhou Tigers coming second and third respectively.

On the sidelines, the Fujian Rugby Football Association was inaugurated as part of local authorities'greater efforts to promote the sport.

As a major cross-Straits exchange event, the tournament, celebrating its fourth edition this year, has become an essential bond between rugby enthusiasts and widely recognized by all sectors of society.
