From January to now, over 50,000 migratory birds have observed in Minjiangkou wetland national nature reserve in Fuzhou, East China's Fujian province, an increase of roughly 20 percent over the same period last year, according to official data, local media reported.
The result is largely attributed to the local authorities' increased efforts in protection of nature resources in the reserve.
Meanwhile, a large variety of flowers have been planted there, attracting numerous visitors, which include Chinese rose, tulip, plum and chrysanthemum.
