Yu Weiguo, Party chief of Fujian province and Governor Tang Dengjie paid a visit to the Fujian reporters covering the annual two sessions in Beijing on Monday.
Yu pointed out that this year's two sessions are of great significance, as 2019 marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China and also the critical stage of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects.
He urged more efforts in publicizing the spirits of the two national meetings and more spotlights on NPC deputies and CPPCC members at grassroots level from Fujian.
Yu also called for more efforts in mobilizing officials and cadres at different levels in the province to work harder, fully implement all the decisions and arrangements of the CPC central committee and open up a new chapter for Fujian's development in a new era.
