The launch ceremony of a special website page to cover the second Digital China Summit was held on April 15 in Fuzhou, East China's Fujian province.
The page is set to integrate the reports on the national summit made by mainstream website media in Fujian including People.com.cn, Xinhuanet and fjsen.com.cn as well as some online video-sharing platforms such as Douyin and Houshan.
Revolving round "New Dynamics, New Development, New Achievements Empowered by Information," the summit will mainly consists of forums, an exhibition on digital China and an innovation contest.
Liang Jianyong, head of Fujian provincial department of publicity, noted that Fujian is leading the nation in digital economic growth.
He said that the inaugural Digital China Summit last year established a platform for releasing policies, showcasing the achievements and promoting economic exchanges.
The host of such an event had spawned a number of opportunities and in-depth changes in multiple fields in the province, according to Liang.
The launch of a special website page to cover the summit is a new approach by the organizing committee, aimed at enhancing the worldwide recognition and influence of the conference.
The event is co-organized by the Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Fujian provincial government.
