It is adjacent to the Haitan Strait in the east and faces Taiwan Island across the sea. At an altitude of 104 meters, the mountain covers an area of 1.1 square kilometers. The cliffy and steep mountain rises along the coastal line, with huge rocks overlapping. It is particularly famous for its unique landscape, such as hill rock scenery, cape bay and temples. The main scenic spots include Tongtian Platform, Leishi Hole, One Line Sky, and Wife Rock. These scenic spots are connected by man-made tourist paths. With unique geographic advantages and natural military barriers, the mountain has become one of the most important strategic sites in the province. In March 1996, China's armed forces and missile troops stationed in the mountain for frontier military exercises. Tiger Mountain then became known at home and aboard for its military importance. The viewing stands, airports, trenches, ditches and other military facilities constructed during the drill are all well-reserved for tourists.
