The staff of middle and primary schools in Pingtan and various government officials attended a discussion on school culture and climate at Chengdong Primary School in the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone (PCPZ) on Jan 3.

They shared their experiences of cultivating a positive school culture, and Chen Dongrong, deputy director of PCPZ's administrative committee, said the school culture at Chengdong has improved, but added that there has been an "unbalanced development" of school culture in Pingtan, and urged all schools to focus on the issue.
