Local border forces put out a forest fire in Pingtan county on Jan 19, the Southeast Express reported on Monday.

The fire broke out in a forest in Liushui town at around 1 pm. The soldiers were divided into two teams and battled the fire with extinguishers and sand, and also took measures to isolate the blaze – thus stopping it from spreading – and they managed to put it out after a little more than one hour.
