Pingtan Biotronic Enterprise, a new smart technology manufacturer held an opening ceremony in Pingtan's Taiwan Innovation Park on July 20, garnering local interest in the company's smart home products, ptnet.com reported.

The Pingtan company will cooperate with others in the smart technology industry, such as Taiwan Biotronic Enterprise, which specializes in home automation systems.

Pingtan Biotronic Enterprise is seeking to further develop its products and promote them in both domestic and international markets.

Chen Shipi, general manager of Pingtan Biotronic Enterprise, said that the preferential policies which apply in Pingtan's free trade zone appealed to the company. "We will try our best to introduce advanced technologies from Taiwan and positively contribute to Pingtan's development," Chen said.
