On 6 September, 2015, Chen Xiaohua, Vice President of CGGC and Chairman of CGGC International, received Paul Kay, Director General of Construction Bureau of Ministry of Construction of Angola at Beijing Head Office of CGGC International.
Chen Xiaohua made detailed introduction to the development process, business scopes, investment and financing capability of CGGC as well as operation conditions in Angola, especially the current progress of Sambizanga Infrastructure Construction Project. He expressed his sincere thanks to Director General and Angola Government for their substantial support for CGGC’s development in Angola for a long time. Chen Xiaohua pointed out that CGGC would well organize and strengthen management as always to ensure the project be completed smoothly, bring benefits to the local economy, society and people’s wellbeings and make new contributions to the friendship between China and Angola.
Director General Paul highly appreciated CGGC’s contributions to social and economic development of Angola, and praised CGGC’s powerful comprehensive strength and excellent contract performance for projects under construction in Angola. Through field investigation and visiting to CGGC, the Director General further understood the company and was full of confidence in its contract fulfilling capability. He said that Angolan Government and people expected CGGC's arrival and its wide participation in energy infrastructure construction and social and economic development of Angola. Relevant ministries and committees in Angola will increasingly strengthen communication and exchange with CGGC to provide support for smooth completion of Sambizanga Infrastructure Construction Project under construction as well as CGGC’s future business development in Angola.
