On February 26, Yu Xuejun and Xie Ping, Chairman of Supervision Board and Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of China, arrived at the Project Management Division of the Sopladora Hydropower Station in Ecuador undertaken by CGGC for inspection and providing advice. Accompanied on the visit were Lyu Zexiang, President of CGGC International, and Cao Donglin, General Manager of CGGC No.2 Engineering Company.
Yu Xuejun and his party checked up most of construction sections at the jobsite including main plants, auxiliary plants and main transformer chambers during a through communication with the principals on site, where they paid close attention to the debriefing of the Project’s execution progress from leaders of the the Project Management Division . Yu Xuejun pointed out that the Sopladora Hydropower Station Project had set up a model among China-invested enterprises in Ecuador in the respect of in respect of security, environmental protection, labor management, external relations and social responsibilities. He encouraged CGGC continue making greater efforts in maintaining outstanding project quality, further optimizing resources allocation, project handover upon completion and operation and maintenance. Mr. Yu expected CGGC to exert itself to build up exquisite engineering through which established is the sound brand image of China-invested enterprises and China's national figure.
