Starting from Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province on Sept. 30, the group arrived in Lhasa via the Sichuan-Tibet route on Oct. 15.
"We always longed for a trip by bike to Lhasa. For us cyclists, the 2,100-kilometer Sichuan-Tibet route is dangerous but we can enjoy the enchanting views along the way. During the 16 days, we crossed ten mountains towering more than 4,000 m above sea level. It is really worth recollecting all our life the pleasant flavor of the journey," said the team leader Zhu Jiangbo.
"Tibet has unique charming landscapes and its people are very kind and friendly." The youngest cyclist by the name of Li indicated that he would visit Tibet again if possible. 15 cyclists reach Lhasa from Chengdu by bike
