The China Textile City International Convention & Exhibition Center (CTCICEC) has been designed as an ultra-modern exhibition venue, intended to cater for a range of high-level trade fairs, conventions and business events, as well as being available for dining and leisure use.
The center occupies an area of 118,000 sq m, with a total indoor floorspace of 110,000 sq m. It consists of the Phase I Main Exhibition Hall, the Phase II Comprehensive Exhibition Hall and the Phase II Catering Center.
The Phase I Main Exhibition Hall covers an area of 46,194 sq m and can accommodate nearly 1,000 standard-sized exhibition booths. It was opened in March 2009.
The Main Exhibition Hall has been developed as a high-tech, well-resourced and modern professional exhibition facility, combining contemporary architecture, attractive design and first class service facilities. It was conceived as having the capacity to match the needs of any large-scale event.
The Phase II construction area spans 78,947 sq m. Following its completion, CTCICEC will be one of the largest exhibition venues in Zhejiang province.
Located within the China Textile City in Keqiao, CTCICEC has a distinctive affinity with its local markets and business elite. It also benefits from excellent transportation facilities. It is 20 km away from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, 230 km away from Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and 150 km away from Ningbo Port. After completion of work on the Hangzhou Bay Shaoxing Bridge in 2012, it will be within one and half hours drive of Shanghai.
CTCICEC is adjacent to Jinkeqiao Avenue (the main county road) on the east and the 329 National Highway on the south. It takes just five minutes to access the 104 National Highway, connecting to the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway to the north.
In close proximity to a large number of hotels, including some 30 star-rated establishments, it also benefits from an advanced and substantial ancillary support structure.
