2009 Hangzhou International Marathon kicks off on Sunday will be held from 8:00 am on November 8, 2009 at Huanglong Sports Center, Hangzhou, China’s Zhejiang province.

Family Run & Kids Run

The Marathon include full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.0975 km), short marathon (13.8 km), mini marathon (6.8 km), family & dids run (1.2 km), couples run (3.5 km).

All runners should run along the right side of the route to ensure the safety, except the portion against traffic after the turning point of Full Marathon and Half Marathon along the Zhijiang Road.

2009 Hangzhou International Marathon was organized by the Chinese Athletic Association (CAA), founded in 1954.

Route

a) Marathon：Start at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate, running through Shuguang Road, Baoshu Road, Beishan Road, Huancheng West Road, Hubin Walking Street, Nanshan Road, Hupao Road, Zhijiang Road, turning at Meilin Road, turning at West Lake Golf Club, Zhijiang Road, Hupao Road, Yanggong Bank, Shuguang Road, Qiushi Road and finishes at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate.

b) Half Marathon: Start at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate, running through Shuguang Road, Baoshu Road, Beishan Road, Huancheng West Road, Hubin Walking Street, Nanshan Road, Hupao Road, Zhijiang Road, turning at Liuhe Tower, Zhijiang Road, Hupao Road, Yanggong Bank, Shuguang Road, Qiushi Road and finishes at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate.

c) Short Marathon: Start at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate, running through Shuguang Road, Baoshu Road, Beishan Road, Huancheng West Road, Hubin Walking Street, Nanshan Road, Yanggong Bank, Shuguang Road, Qiushi Road and finishes at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate.

d) Mini Marathon: Start at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate, running through Shuguang Road, Baoshu Road, Beishan Road, Duan Bridge, Moon Lake, Beishan Road, Shuguang Road, Qiushi Road and finishes at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate.

e) Family Run & Kids Run: Start at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate, running through Shuguang Road, Qiushi Road and finishes at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate.

f) Couples Run: Start at Duan Bridge, running through Moon Lake, Xileng Bridge, Beishan Road, Shuguang Road, Qiushi Road and finishes at Huanglong Sports Center East Gate.
