The Closing Ceremony and Gala Show of the 11th West Lake International Expo will be held at 7:30 on the evening of November 7 at the Hangzhou Grand Theatre.
The 90 minute-ceremony will be broadcast live by Hangzhou TV.
The closing night performance will be in the form of a special concert by the Philharmonic Orchestra. Music from domestic and international film and television familiar to Hangzhou people will be performed by the Orchestra.
Scenes from classic films will be presented on a large-screen to match the music, reviewing the films’ highlights. Songs from television shows will include: Wild Seven Warriors, The Straits, Mu Yang Song, Big Yard of Qiao Family, William Tell Overture, Gone with the Wind, Yu Guanyin, Braveheart, Fragrance, Visitors from the Ice Tip and more.
Delegates from foreign-asset enterprises, joint ventures, the army, police, hospitals, schools, volunteers and communities have been invited to the closing ceremony.
The 11th West Lake International Expo kicked off October 17 and closes November 7 in Hangzhou, located in East China’s Jiangsu province.
With strong supporters, the 11th West Lake International Expo includes over 100 different exhibitions, conferences, and cultural and commercial events to showcase the daily life of local people and the rapid development of the metropolitan city.
Hosted by the Hangzhou People’s Government, the expo is supported by 15 entities, including the World Tourism Organization, National Tourism Administration of the People’s Republic of China, General Administration of Sport of China, and Zhengjiang People’s Government.
