More than 200 hotels in Shanghai have started accepting bookings for the World Expo next May, the Oriental Morning Post reported Tuesday.

According to travel website Ctrip.com, next year the average price of 5-star hotels may range around RMB1600, while that of 2- and 3-star hotels will be between RMB200 and RMB300. Hotels in surrounding cities, such as Hangzhou, Suzhou and Nanjing, will also cost more.
