In the future, you should not be surprised when you tour around in Xixi Wetland Park and find Mr. Zhu Deyong, the author of the popular TV series, Pink Lady, sketching in the park.

Xixi Wetland park, a popular theme park most well known for its picturistic wetland scene, welcomes its’ first bunch of artists guests as they’re invited to set up studios in the newly-opened Xixi Wetland Innovation Industrial Park.

Mr. Zhudeyong, recalled that he was in love with Hangzhou 3 years ago when he made his first trip to Hangzhou. He hopes that he could make his part of contribution to make Hangzhou a more humorous city so that more people would be attracted to this city.

The 0.95-sq km-Xixi Wetland Innovation Industrial Park is located at the south east corner of the park. 59 newly renovated or built villas are provided for artists or art organizations to rent. The park is divided into east and west sections. The east is intended to attract creative organizations to set up offices while the west invites big name artists to open their studios.

Right now the east section is home to Hua Ce TV, Great Wall TV, Nan Guang TV, Golden Ball Movie, etc. Mr. Pan Gongkai, a well known painter and art critic; Mr. Cai Zhizhong, a famous cartoon author from Taiwan, Mr. Yu Hua, the author of a best sellers, Alive, Xusanguan sold blood; Ms. Xu Gehui, a household name TV host from Phoenix TV and Mr. Lai Shengchuan, a popular director from Taiwan are also moving in.
