After touring Nanjing, Hangzhou, Xi'an and Wuhan in China since it began last October, a promotional event for the 16th Asian Games has arrived in Beijing. An evening gala filled with the authentic culture of the host city, Guangzhou, was staged on Wednesday night.

The gala opened with a potpourri of song and dance, accompanied by the five cute mascots of the 16th Asian Games. The beat of drums carried the enthusiasm of the host city and its appreciation of the nationwide support. The strong cultural mix of the modern and old Guangzhou is interpreted in the theme song of the Asian Games "Road of Asia".

After Beijing, "Asian Games China Tour"  will visit Shanghai, Jinan, Changchun and Harbin. The 16th Asian Games will be held in Guangzhou from November 12th to 27th.
