On April 28, 2010, a cartoon carnival parade made up of 13 beautifully decorated floats was held in Zhongbei Innovation Zone in downtown Hangzhou to celebrate the kicking off of the 6th China International Cartoon & Animation Festival, the biggest cartoon festival in China.
Each parade float was given a theme, some named cartoon connecting past and future, cartoon connecting China and the world and cartoon connecting you and me.
A parade squad made up of 300 people dressing in cartoon costume also showed up on the street to entertain the crowd.
