Ebony Hoffman scored 31 points as Zhejiang beat Henan 82-78 in Saturday's Chinese Women's Basketball League (WCBA) match.
Shi Yitong added 16 points and five steals for Zhejiang, who won their third of the last four games.
Katharen Feenstra and Sun Jie conbined 40 points for Henan, who lost their last two games.
Hoffman made a three-point shot in the fourth quarter to give Zhejiang a 79-78 lead. Host team Henan never scored from then on and Zhejiang made three free-throws to seize the win 82-78.
Short-handed Jiangsu was beaten by Guangdong 78-64. National team player Bian Lan was out due to her adjustment after the Guangzhou Asian Games, and the clear dateline of her return is still in question.
Ding Yuan had 21 points and nine rebounds for Guangdong while Swintayla Cash added 18 points and 14 rebounds.
Huan Huan had 16 points for Jiangsu, whose winning streak is sanpped at four.
Ji Yanyan's 31 points, eight rebounds and seven assists helped Heilongjiang to stop a three-match losing streak and handed Shengyang Army their second defeat of the season. Three Heilongjiang players scored more than 20 points while Song Liwei and Miao Lijie each provided 21 points for Shengyang. The final score is 105-86.
In other games, defending champion Liaoning beat Beijing 82-68, Bayi beat Yunan 76-66 and Shanghai thrashed Fujian 101-83, who is still waiting for their first season victory.
