Experts to shoulder more

2010-December-28 09:56:28

The experts at the Zhejiang provincial technology department and Hangzhou technology bureau are urged to do more shouldering next year.

Lou Jianren, director of Hangzhou Bureau of Technology, inked the specific requirements of the new shouldering: innovation, starting a business, coordination, training others and self-learning.

The request was called at a commendation meeting held in Chun’an county, Hangzhou, and over 150 experts in technology attended.

Hangzhou, capital city of East China’s Zhejiang province, has a proud tradition of allocating experts in technology to field sites. The conference reviewed the experts’ work in the past year and appraised 50 experts for their outstanding efforts. In the past year, they contributed to 165 projects worth a total of 6 billion yuan. They delivered training lectures to 15,000 farmers and opened up a 280-hectare demonstration base.
