More than 20 enterprises have been settling into their headquarters at Huaqiao International Service Business Park, with the investment amount up to 13.5 billion yuan.

Japan’s NSK, one of the world’s top 500 enterprises and the world’s second-largest bearing manufacturer with a 13% global market share, has finished construction of its headquarters building. The headquarters, NSK’s biggest reach and development center in the world and the Asia-Pacific operations headquarters, will be put into use this October.

NSK is not the only one moving in. Hong Kong Kingboard Chemical Holdings Ltd has also allocated $ 200 million into headquarter operations for the greater China region. The Zhongcheng Group from China’s southern Fujian Province has been constructing headquarters for operations and sales for the China region as well.

Among others, SOHO International Group from central China’s Jiangsu Province and Yuyuan Holding Co Ltd from China’s northern Hebei Province also plan to establish headquarters for the China or east China region.

At the beginning of this year, Huaqiao put all its focus on headquarters construction as the backbone of its further development. In addition to its advanced service industry, encouraging competition systems and integrative development strategies, Huaqiao has taken two measures to attract enterprises to set their headquarters at Huaqiao.

One is financial support. Huaqiao implements preferential tax policies and investment subsidies with a maximum of 15 million yuan, which effectively reduces enterprises’ costs of operations.

The other is talent resources. Huaqiao invested 390 million yuan in building a training base and invited the Ambow Education Group to train service outsourcing talent. In addition, Huaqiao, in cooperation with American Learning Group and Shanghai International Banking and Finance Institute, has been introducing excellent talent to enterprises.
