Led by Tang Naixin, deputy director of the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, a delegation of four went to India and the Philippines to inspect the outsourcing industry, learn advanced managerial skills, and exchange their views over issues like the future of the outsourcing industry and trends in its development.
The delegation’s trip covered Bangalore, known as the silicon valley of India for its position as the nation's leading IT exporter. They went to the Bangalore Software Technology Park and conducted research on its mode of developing and operating and government aids, together with the basic infrastructure. Both sides exchanged their views on how to continue cooperating in the future.
In Manila, the Association of Philippine Outsourcing Industry briefed the delegation on the basics, and Tang Naixin expressed his hope to have the chance to collaborate with them. Recently, the outsourcing industry in the Philippines has been booming, and as a result has attracted 26 IT parks and 73 IT centers to relocate there.
SBMA, one of the special economic zones of the Philippines, was on the list of destinations. The head of SBMA welcomed Tang’s visit and accompanied him all through SBMA. Tang Naixin appreciated their hospitality and held a discussion over the problems concerned.
