Huaqiao and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) will work together to grow a skilled labor pool, including an Integrated Circuit (IC) Project. The agreement was reached June 17.

Huaqiao will benefit from UESTC's scientific research capacity and also its long reputation for graduating students skilled in information science and high-tech sectors. UESTC is building a platform to attract more skilled workers to the information technology outsourcing industry in Huaqiao. The cooperation between Huaqiao and UESTC marks the launch of Huaqiao’s efforts to attract more highly skilled labor to West China.
