Secretary general Chen Wenyi of Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufactures Association led a delegation to Huaqiao International Service Business Park, July 11, to discuss preparations for 2011 Kunshan Electronics and Machinery Exposition scheduled in August.
This is the second cooperation for the association and the Kunshan municipal government after the first electronics and machinery expo was successfully held in Kunshan, 2010. The both sides hope to promote the exposition as an annual event. This year’s event has a theme of “Intelligent life and green manufacturing lead future trends.” The exhibit area covers 65,000 square meters that can accommodate about 1,000 exhibit stands. Various electronics and machinery products, including household appliances, digital cameras, computers, wireless products, navigation devices and optoelectronics products, will be put on display in all six exhibit zones, namely Intelligent Life, Daily Life, Low-Carbon and Energy-Saving, Computer Products, Electronic Parts and Manufacturing and Testing Equipment.
Five cross-Straits forums on automotive electronics, intelligent life and logistics development will be held during the event. The both sides hope to explore new means for the industrial transformation to expand the cooperation and communications across the Taiwan Straits.
Han Wei, deputy mayor of Kunshan city, Jiangsu province, expressed his thanks to Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufactures Association for its dedication to the expo in 2010. He hoped this year’s event to find more cooperation possibilities for the economic development on both sides.
