Kunshan Hwatek Wires and Cable Co. Ltd. and Ikari Machine & Electrion Ind. (Kunshan) Co. Ltd., which are located in Huaqiao International Service Business Park, were certificated as foreign-capital research organizations by the provincial government of Jiangsu recently.

The Park holds nine province-level foreign-capital research organizations and engineering centers.

Kunshan Hwatek manufactures and sells communication cables and cable connectors, which was founded in 2006 and privately owned by HongKong HWATEK Technology Ltd.

The company has completed ten indigenous projects with total investments of over 10 million yuan.

It also worked with Harbin University of Science and Technology to develop high-voltage pulsed electric wires and cables to capture the market for their accuracy, low impedance, high speed and energy savings.

In 2011, the company was certificated as a high-tech enterprise.

Ikari Kogyo Co.Ltd. manufactured hardware products, since it was founded in Osaka, Japan, more than a century ago.

In 1996, it established Ikari Machine & Electrion Ind. (Kunshan) Co Ltd. in Huaqiao, mainly producing auto parts and hardware products. Its products have mostly been applied to vehicles manufactured by BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Buick, and Volkswagen.
