Young volunteers met to present Spring Festival couplets to local residents in Huaqiao on Jan 25.

Volunteers gave out Spring Festival couplets near a food market, creating a jubilant atmosphere in the community. "We hope Huaqiao holds more activities like this to benefit its residents," said an elderly man.

"I will take the fu (the Chinese character for wealth) to my hometown and tell my family I have a good life here," said a local resident.

The volunteers delivered more than 400 couplets throughout the day.
