The Suzhou Chamber of Import & Export Commerce held the Northeast Japan Investment Promotion Seminar in Xiangcheng district, Suzhou, on March 25 to promote China-Japan economic interaction.

Japanese enterprises from Tokyo, Iwate, Fukushima and Aomori introduced the overall investment environment in northeast Japan after the earthquake on April 11, 2011, and exhibited traditional Japanese crafts.

Commercial representatives from the METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and other Japanese commercial institutions delivered speeches at the seminar and invited Chinese businesspeople to invest in northeast Japan.

A Huaqiao delegation introduced the superior geographical location and favorable policy environment of Huaqiao International Service Business Park to their Japanese counterparts and invited Japanese investments in Huaqiao.
