A review meeting organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development awarded the honor of Two-Star Green Building Design Label to Kunshan Sofmit Outsourcing Industrial Park on Aug 22.

The industrial park is located south of Jinfeng Road and west of Jinyang Road, covering an area of 42,744.7 square meters and a building area of 75,951.9 sq m. It uses grass and water permeable bricks to pave the road. It provides 24 hours of hot water through solar water heaters and uses waste water to flush toilets, wash roads and water plants. An energy consumption monitoring system and smart ammeters have also been installed.
