The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) recently added the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Commerce and Trade Cooperation Development Co into its file management system as an imported meat products consignee. The company is the second in Kunshan awarded with the honor.

Food companies need to get approval by the AQSIQ to import meat from foreign companies. Jiangsu province has a total of 45 companies listed in the system.
