Fong-long Chen, executive chairman of Chailease Holding Co, of Taiwan, led a delegation to Huaqiao International Service Business Park, Kunshan, in South China’s Jiangsu province, on Feb 27, for an on-the-spot study of the park’s investment environment, including Huaqiao’s construction and related policies.

Guan Aiguo and Lu Jun, the secretary and deputy secretary of Kunshan municipal Party committee, met with the delegates and talked about in-depth financial cooperation in the Kunshan Deepen Cross-Strait Industrial Cooperation Experimental Zone.

The cross-Straits financial industry will see immense potential, based on the financial innovative policies in the zone as well as the solid foundation created by Kunshan’s manufacturing industry, according to Guan, who also said he looked forward to further cooperation with Chailease Holding in finance and other fields.

Chen hopes to establish a financial lease company in Huaqiao through Kunshan Experimental Zone’s favorable policy and environment.

Chailease Holding Co is a Taiwan financial lease giant that was listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange on July 11, 2007, the first Taiwan-based financial enterprise to be listed on the exchange.
