The 2014 Kunshan Forest Flower Cultural Festival kicked off on March 22 in the wetland ecological garden of Kunshan forest park. The garden has been transformed into a sea of flowers. The bright sunshine, colorful flowers and vivid 3D wall paintings have attracted many visitors.

As a key part of the Kunshan International Cultural Tourism Festival, the Forest Flower Cultural Festival has five themed pavilions including flowers, 3D paintings, music, food and specialty goods. The festival will feature seven themed activities, focusing on the charity sale of flowers, a tulip flower show, a music festival, a parent-child garden party, a flower-sculpture exhibition, a mass blind date and a blessing ceremony.

In addition, tourists will be treated to a tea-tasting, model-making and DIY painting events during the festival. The festival will run through May 11. Each ticket is priced at 50 yuan for holidays and 30 yuan for weekdays. The elderly, soldiers and children less than 1.2 meters tall are allowed free admission to the festival.
