Qionglong Mountain, Suzhou

Qionglong Mountain is the highest mountain of Suzhou, Jiangsu province. One of the most famous ancient Chinese militarists, Sun Tzu, lived here after retirement, composing the masterpiece The Art of War. Qionglong Mountain has the longest sky way in Suzhou and the only provincial natural reserve in Suzhou as well.

The Cherry Forest on Qionglong Mountain is representative of China-Japan friendship. It was donated by the Japanese scholar Hattori Chiharu in 1998. Every year from late March to early April, the cherry blossoms are at their best.
