Qingdao ship of China's 11th batch of navy escort fleet reached Jeddah Port of Saudi Arabia on May 1 and started a four-day-long in-port rest and replenishment. |
A vessel, which was named "Qingdao" and assigned to China's 11th naval escort fleet, made port at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia on May 1 and began a four day shore leave for rest and resupply.
Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Li Chengwen and his wife, the former Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon Liu Xianghua, the Consul General of China in Jeddah Wang Yong and various staff greeted the soldiers at the port.
Maintenance and resupply will be carried out over the next four days. The escort ships Yantai and Weishanhu will continue on their escort mission.
