The First Shandong (Qingdao) International Agricultural Trade Fair was held on Nov 2-4. Exhibitors displayed their agricultural products and machines through three exhibition areas.

The fair attracted 1,016 exhibitors including 140 foreign enterprises. Special agricultural products from Qingdao, Xinjiang, Ningxia, Fujian, Jilin and Heilongjiang were shown on the exhibit. The fair set a Taiwan exhibition area for visitors to test Taiwan agricultural products, according to qdCaijing.com.

Qingdao Governor Zhang Xinqi said, "Qingdao is an important agricultural production and export base in the country. Its products have exported to 123 countries and regions. Qingdao would use the fair to communicate with foreign agricultural enterprises and welcome investors to start their businesses."

During the three-day's exhibition, the fair welcomed 253,000 person-time visitors. Total business transaction amount reached 502 million yuan ($ 80.38 million).
