A rare marine life exhibition was held in Qingdao Underwater World, Shandong province, on April 19. Halobios and specimens on display were bred through artificial reproduction. Though artificial breeding for rare marine species results in low chances of survival, it can protect the oceanic ecological balance by reducing the effects of fishing.
